Love in it's truest form

"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails....And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love."

Love is a kicker I tell ya. People strive for it, kill for it, when they find it they hold on to it so tight, when they've had too much of it they can take it for granted. A child's love is the greatest love I think. So pure, untainted by society, what they should love, what can it do for them, no fear. As adults the experiences in our lives mold us and we are then subjected to particular criteria on what we want love to be. Movies, books, fanciful flights of wistfulness, romance and butterflies. I love love. It's hard though when honesty and love don't quite mix. To want to love but can't. Have those perimeters you've delicately placed around your heart, that you don't necessarily wanna cross, but when you find yourself putting one foot over the line, you quickly retract it. What a life.
