unforgettable
I witnessed a beautiful wedding last night. Small, intimate, and full of love. As I watched the first dance I couldn't help but to think back to my own experience. The song unforgettable came on and I was taken back to my father daughter dance. I haven't cried much in a while, trying to be strong, trying to,,,,well just trying,,, Watching their family enjoy the time together. I was privileged to be apart of it. But my heart breaks. I've become I can honestly say a cynic of love. I love love. But to give your heart whole heartily is tough to do. Will I ever be able to do it again. I hope so. =(

Love in it's truest form

Love is a kicker I tell ya. People strive for it, kill for it, when they find it they hold on to it so tight, when they've had too much of it they can take it for granted. A child's love is the greatest love I think. So pure, untainted by society, what they should love, what can it do for them, no fear. As adults the experiences in our lives mold us and we are then subjected to particular criteria on what we want love to be. Movies, books, fanciful flights of wistfulness, romance and butterflies. I love love. It's hard though when honesty and love don't quite mix. To want to love but can't. Have those perimeters you've delicately placed around your heart, that you don't necessarily wanna cross, but when you find yourself putting one foot over the line, you quickly retract it. What a life.
