Reminds me of my best friend!!!

It's a great thing in life when you are blessed to have a true friend. One that pushes you, one that supports you, loves you no matter what, provides you strength in hard times, makes you laugh, who you can always be yourself with. Well I can say I have that in my life. I had an amazing time in Miami this past weekend. Celebrating my best friends birthday. It was a lot of fun, partying, spontanaity, and family time. Flying back in from sunny florida was almost like a time shift cuz of the snow on the top of the buildings and roads. It felt like it was Christmas again. Back to reality. lol

Express yourself don't Regress Yourself

Art is Therapy. Words aren't always needed to get through difficult times.  Sometimes it's a movement, a drawing, a good laugh, a good cry.

Ground hog day, everyday

Same circle,,running round and round.

Trying to break out the circle or am I fine getting lost in it, letting time pass. Not building, really building. Am I too hard on myself. So much potential WHY can't I tap in. WTF

What was i thinking? is what you ask yourself when you start analyzing yourself. It's healthy. Up until then life is just a series of random events that happen to you. Once you grab control and realize you have a apart in your destiny you say "What was I thinking"

"Avoid situations from the past that may threaten me?

These Women R inspiring!!!

Empowering Citizens!!!

Question?

Wouldn't it be better instead of bailing out Wall Street and the Banks to make each person a millionaire? The economy will boom. Empower the citizens and we can stimulate the economy and pay off debts. Put the power in our hands. Cuz there is nothing that is stimulating citizens to stimulate the economy. Feel me?

Think Positive!

CrossRoads

It's just a blank page, before you fill it with words isn't it,,with endless possibilities.
A lifetime, A Journey, The journey of my life.
A Death, A death of a life I knew, now gone
Realizing the incomprehensible Damage done.
Time for Being Real, Honest, Humble.
Confusion set on a path to Clarity
Getting stronger in self, (Mind, Body, Soul)
No more bullshit, no more lies,
Coming to grips with the person I was, releasing that, and Feeling good about the person I will become.
It takes time. Patience will be my virtue.

Kickin it into high gear tho. Fo Sho' ;)

PROP 8

For those who don't know what Prop 8 is:

Proposition 8 was a California State ballot proposition that amended the state Constitution to restrict the definition of marriage to a union between a man and a woman. It overrode a recent California Supreme Court decision that had recognized same-sex marriage in California as a fundamental right by overturning the California Defense of Marriage Act. The official ballot title language for Proposition 8 was "Eliminates Right of Same-Sex Couples to Marry." The entirety of the text to be added to the constitution is: "Only marriage between a man and a woman is valid or recognized in California."
The campaigns for and against Proposition 8 raised $35.8 million and $37.6 million, respectively, becoming the highest-funded campaign on any state ballot that day and surpassing every campaign in the country in spending except the presidential contest. The proponents argued for exclusively heterosexual marriage while claiming that failure to change the constitution would require changes to school curriculum and threaten church tax benefits. The opponents argued that eliminating the rights of any Californian and mandating that one group of people be treated differently from everyone else was unfair and wrong.

It's funny to me how people say we have separation between church and state in this country when we really don't. It pisses me off how people always say gay people should have their civil rights and protection under the law but the word "marriage" is said to be between a man and a woman. Now if we aren't including religion where do they get that information?.... it's from the Bible idiots. People can be so full of shit sometimes. My boy made a shirt that reads "How can I be free, if you're not free" So are any of us really FREE if the rights of some are still being taken away?

True Blood is Sick

I'm sure for many people it only took them a couple of shows to get hooked to True Blood. After all the rave reviews and everyone telling me to check it out I finally did. I had a True Blood Marathon thanks to In Demand. ;) So in 3 sittings and 8 hours of shows I was all caught up, just watched it, and can't believe the final episode is next week. This weeks episode introduced 2 new characters who leave you wondering what the F*&%, and we are getting closer to the killer. It's funny how you have conversations and are like I like this character or that one sucks, lol,, but some characters who have been laying low are coming to shine. Can't wait for next week.

Black and White's her new theme?

The dancing feels like all her videos in one,,Kinda. lol

Rock of Ages!!!

I must admit, I went to see this 80's inspired off broadway show and I had a blast. I didn't realize how many 80's songs I know and actually liked. It was cute and corky and high energy. The dancers were great and the costumes hilarious throw backs. I almost forgot,,and the best part is you can drink during the show. No more hurry your drink b4 you go in, you can actually order from your seat. Ahh,,good times. lol I have to keep up with my broadway and off broadway obsession. =) I appreciate it.

Dreams do come tru!

It is an amazing thing. I'm still on a high. Last night was the most amazing night in my life to be able to witness the next President of the United States, Barack Obama give his speech when he won the presidency. I balled. My heart lifted and and a sense of relief and calm came over me. Sharing this moment with people I love was a wonderful thing. At 27 I can say, we can make a difference. Everything we do as individuals do make a change. Change is constant. We are the change we wished to see in this world and I know we have a long way to go before we are the country we need to be, but I can say I feel we are on the right track with a great leader. I added MLK's I have a dream speech to this blog because 45 years later, his dream has come tru. So dope.

Tomorrow is the BIG Day!!!!!

Live Your Life - T.I. feat. Rihanna

In 2004 I was excited to vote in the Presidential election. I wasn't excited about the candidates we had to choose from but anyone who could possibly replace BUSH was my pick. When we got robbed and we ended up with BUSH for another 4 years, it was so infuriating. I thought the political process was a sham. Tomorrow just feels like a day of great change. I have high hopes that everyone who is able will go out and vote, regardless of who you are choosing. I can't front, I do have a little feeling of nervousness that Obama won't win because Politics will always be Politics. It will be telling of the systems in place now and that have been for a long time. But I think now is the time people take the initiative to live their lives the way they know they can where their quality of life will only flourish.

GO BARACK!!!

Halloween Prank Gone Wrong

A message from Rock the Vote

Hi everyone,

Thanks to all of you who checked your registration status in NY State and sent us an update. We were appalled when we learned that the state of New York was so far behind in processing all the registration forms they received, but with your help, we’ll do everything we can to make sure each of you and really, all new voters, get on the voter rolls and are able to vote in November.

Here is the latest:

After lots of conversations with lawyers today, I have learned that there was a huge backlog of data-entering the registration forms at the county level in NY, but as of Thursday the 23rd at 9:30pm the last form in New York County was supposedly entered, and the other counties should be caught up as well!

I really want to believe this, but our votes are too important to leave to chance. So, here is what we need you to do:

1—CALL THE COUNTY BOARD OF ELECTIONS ASAP. If you turned in a registration form, you should be in your county database now. The person answering the phone can look you up and confirm that you are in fact registered. There is a lag between the county database and the public voter look-up on the website, so you need to call. Here is the list of phone numbers: http://www.elections.state.ny.us/CountyBoards.html

2—LET US KNOW THE RESULTS. Please email vote@rockthevote.com and let us know if you are still NOT on the voter rolls according to the county. This will allow us to identify any problems by county, as well as follow up on your status and ensure you can vote. When you email us, please put your COUNTY as the subject of the email.

If you sent your completed registration form in to a NY State elections office by October 10th, you will be able to vote on Election Day. We'll help make sure of it.

Thanks,

Heather & the Rock the Vote team

Tragedy

I just found out today that Jennifer Hudson's mother and brother were killed yesturday in their home in Chicago. It's so sad that malice exists in this world. To take lives without the blink of an eye. My heart goes out to her and her family and hope that her nephew Julian King is found as he was kidnapped. They have an amber alert out for him. How does such tragedy happen to such a seemingly grateful and humble woman. Questions of life that will never be answered. I hope they catch the bastard.

Reality Junkie

So I got another hit of a new reality show called Stylista on the WB.  I don't know why these shows keep me watching with the same formats as all the other shows,,they meet, people hate each other, first challenge, move into a dope crib, second challenge, and someone's eliminated.  The shows premise is for one of them to win the chance to become an editor for ELLE magazine,,I think,,lol (which is my fav mag by the way).  There is a girl named Danielle on the show who is a bit on the plump side with a cute sense of style, and you think,, oh she's gonna be off the show the first week.  And they have you believing it until the boy with the beautiful hair,,,like a certain someone,,ehmm,, gets the boot for losing his personal style and being BORING.

Moral of the first show:  Don't give up who you are no matter what anyone's opinion is of you. Cuz everyone has one.

My 20's

Over the years I've learned a lot from Oprah's different shows. In this particular one it was talking about the different stages women go through in their 20's, 30's, 40's, and 50's. I pulled a few of these key points which I think reign true and need to constantly remember.

"20's are the age of frustration & anxiety"
"Experience it as a journey in the adventure of your life"
"Listen to your instincts and do it all in your 20's"
"Never give up your power"
"Do the meanial jobs but don't lose yourself"
"Don't think you'll find your career now" Enjoy the different expriences

Susie Orman on Oprah (What to do about your credit)

I am always aware about my financial status and with the current bailout of wall street, it is now more than ever our responsibility to keep our stuff in check. Susie Orman who is a financial expert and is always on Oprah,,gave 5 ways to protect your money.

Don't Panic and start pulling your money out of the banks.

1. Make sure your savings are safe.
FDIC insured
NCUA insured
Money Market Accounts
Government Backed

2. Pay down credit
Eventually the credit limits will begin to shrink, interest rates will go up, so pay your credit cards as soon as possible.
Don't be late.

3. Get health and life insurance (only TERM insurance)

4. Continue to contribute to your retirement plan.

5. Stop spending what you can't afford. (This is a tough one cuz it's what our society does)

We can make it out of this!

Perplexed

I watch the view everyday. And today they didn't even mention the Vice Presidential Debate last night. How bizarre...Everyday they can go on and on about the shit but nothing, not a peep. I see a conspiracy,,lol lemme stop bugging.

Gas Shortage in GA!!!

So I get to Georgia on Friday and I had been for warned that there was no gas down here due to Hurricane Ike knocking out the oil refineries. I didn't believe how bad it was till you see the lines of cars for one gas station. Businesses are slow cuz people are afraid to go out and waste gas. Conversations around should you even go to work just to save the little you have. Fancy cars all gassed out on the sides of the roads. In a time where we were watching the gas prices sky rocket, in this part of town people are limited to only 20 or 30 dollars worth. It's like being in the twilight zone when it comes to looking at these empty gas stations in rows with no prices on them and no cars in sight. Something needs to be done.

Don't Get Crazy!!!

I received this email and thought it was important to share.

It read: Please, please, please advise everyone you know that they absolutely can NOT go to the polls wearing any Obama (or whoever you are voting for) shirts, pins, hats, etc. It is AGAINST THE LAW and will be grounds to have the polling officials to turn you away. This is considered campaigning and no one can campaign within X amount of feet of the polls. They are banking on us being overly excited and not being aware of this long standing law that you can bet will be ENFORCED THIS YEAR!!!!!

They are banking that if you are turned away, you will not go home and change your clothes and return to the polls to vote. Please just don't wear ANY gear of any sorts to the polls! Please share this information with as many people as you can. If you are already aware of this, please don't take it as insulting your intelligence.

Have a great day and see you at the polls on November 4th.

L.O.V.E on MTB4

Love is in the air for Dawn and Q. What's so endearing about watching these two in the beginning blooming stages of their relationship, is that we've all had those feelings once or twice or every time we get with a new person that's worth something. You watch them and either can't help but smile and say "I want that or have that",,or say,,"Wait, it won't last long".  But what happens when the newness fades,,what I'm finding,,is that the LOVE, the real LOVE, grows stronger, but not by chance, by work. When the emotions of the grand fairy tale ideas don't necessarily come tru by story book standards, like always being swept off your feet, if you have true love, it exists in everything. It's not flowers and candy, gifts, dates, everyday sex. It's the appreciation that everyday you are able to be with that person and enjoy them for who they are, what they are giving to the relationship, and how they continue to grow, and how you continue to grow separate and together. Through trials and errors, through forgiveness and honesty,  through good times and everyday times,,,,that's LOVE.

Dominican Power in Fashion

GRASIE MERCEDES, OMAYRAH MOTA, ARLENIS SOSA

Dominicans representin' in US fashion. Arlenis Sosa is the newest 19 year old Dominican Model from Santo Domingo, to hit the runways in over a dozen shows at Fashion Week, fashion magazines like US Vogue and the "Black Issue" in Italian Vogue, and in 2009 will be the new face for Lancome. She is a cutie, tall, and seems like she has a great future ahead of her. She was spotted in D.R. as she was walking with her family in El Malecon and they approached her. Unlike a lot of girls in the states who's dream it is to become a supermodel or superstar, school was the number 1 priority in her family. As is for many Dominican fams. So like the successful Omayrah Mota, I'm sooo rooting for Arlenis and all my dominicans doing their thing.

Love Hate Lounge Miami

It could be primarily viewed as a rock 'n' roll bar, but Love Hate Lounge serves up a variety of music, including old school hip-hop which I love. They always throw on old Jay-Z and Biggie that gets the crowd singing along every time. New York is definitely in the building. lol When I'm in Miami I have to come here. The vibe is chill, the ambiance is cool, and the people are down to earth. Occasionally I've seen Ami and Chris roll through (Owners/who also own Miami Ink). The drinks are kinda expensive ($8 bucks for a vodka/cran) but they are strong as hell. So next time your in Miami definitely roll through.

Get your Jeans On!

Now I can't do the High Waisted Jean as Jlo does so well here, outside TRL in 07',,, but I am definitely gonna get into the more mid rise jean due to my long torso. I've been trying to rock the low rise jeans and it's come time to change.

It's always so hard to buy jeans that look great, are different, funky, and perfect for my body. I always am giving up one thing for another. Well no more. It's funny, I'm 5'4, short legs, long torso, with curves. So finding the perfect jean is no cake walk. When I stand up on the bus or train I'm one of the shorties, But once I sit down I am almost as tall as the 6'0 dude next to me. Well I'm on a mission. If you have any spots I should definitely check out lemme know.

Train Ride to Flushing

"The only freedom deserving the name, is that of pursuing our own good in our own way, so long as we do not attempt to deprive others of theirs, or impede their efforts to obtain it. Each is the guardian of his own health, whether bodily, or mental, or spiritual. Mankind are greater gainers by suffering each other to live as seems good to themselves, than by compelling each to live as seems good to the rest."-John Stuart Mill

Sitting on my long ass train ride from the city, almost getting to my stop, I open my eyes and look up. There is this paragraph by John Stuart Mill and it hit home. There has been a lot of political talk these days which is great that people are getting involved. But this hit home. Let people be who they are gonna be. Give them the information and the tools but it's up to them to use it.

Follow Up: Researching John Stuart Mill I found another dope perspective.

“He who lets the world, or his own portion of it, choose his plan of life for him, has no need of any other faculty than the ape-like one of imitation. He who chooses his plan for himself, employs all his faculties. He must use observation to see, reasoning and judgement to foresee, activity to gather materials for decision, discrimination to decide, and when he has decided, firmness and self-control to hold to his deliberate decision. "

Mentions:
Izza Kizza - Hello

By Chad Jordan
Straight from Attorney Street, check what they had to say about Izza Kizza and his latest video; Hectah is an amazingly talented multimedia artist who is responsible for all of my creative photos, graphics, artwork, myspace layouts, and viral videos. Basically he is the entire visual element of me, and we completely inspire each other. Hectah approached me and said that he wanted to try and do a video for a song from my Kizzaland mix-tape. He chose “Hello” since he thought it the song was crazy and “didn’t get the exposure it deserved”. Since we had zero money to make a video for a mix-tape, he had this idea of taking upwards of 20,000 photos on a small laptop in the i-photo program, and sequence them together in stop motion/ time lapse photography all in a mac i-book. I didn’t know what all of that meant at first (sounded like some flux capacitor -10,000- gigawatts back to the future type shit), so I just went with the flow and put my trust in him and his idea. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but the next thing you know I was walking around Union Square in NYC with a laptop strapped to my chest. Necessity is truly the mother of invention. Steve jobs would be proud. This is the final result….enjoy”

Be the Change! Stand up! Enough!

I am my brother's keeper,I am my sister's keeper, we have to do it for eachother. Our generation!

Leadership
Power by Example? or Example by Power?

Global Warming
Money does grow on trees, but don't cut down the freaken trees, and if you do, make sure to plant another seed.

Brush fires, floods, polar ice cap, earthquakes, God is saying STOP!

Education
When you get to College, education is a business.
Really teach our kids in junior high and elementary school how to be prosperous.

Economy
Small businesses need to step up.

Internet (If you serve a purpose, you are giving back to America) Give the information to everyone and let them make up their own minds.

Healthcare
The policies are keeping the doctors from doing their jobs.

Credit (what credit does gov't stand on)
How come gov't doesn't have to put back money into the deficit like americans have to put back into our credit cards when we borrow.

Religion
"If you wanna reach out to the world Let the world in" "It's what God would do"-Joshy
The republicans hide in the church. It shouldn't be the fear of what could happen, you should believe in the change that it can be a better nation.

Family
Parents have quit and are disconnected from their children. The need for sex ed in school. If you gonna speak abstinence teach sex ed. They should not be separated.

War
They turned our Defense into an Offense. It doesn't help our economy it only helps your economy.

If we don't change the perception of America in our history books and life, we are doomed to repeat it.
It repeats itself every 10 years.  Stop believing the hype of fear. Get educated people.

Mo' money mo' money mo' money,,for Their kids

"If you are not in the government you should be for the people" Stop defending them!

We not crying, We are just trying to survive!

25 years of Republicans and they fucked the shit up. We had Clinton and they get him out on someone "thankin" him.

Harlem Hospital (Sick Care in America)

What an interesting and eye opening day.  I was so saddened by the way Harlem Hospital treated my friend, my fam.  I saw my friend lie in his bed that hadn't been changed in a few days.  Stool samples that were just chillen on the window sill. His girl and I took it upon ourselves to get the shit done for him.  The hospital nurses couldn't have a freaken clue.  I was sooo tight.  It seemed almost comedic how horrible the care or non-care was at this hospital.  Something has to be done.  It's infuriating.  And then they gotta go and pay them thousands of dollars to still be sick.  BULLSHIT!!!!  I'm writing a letter.

The Political Race

Last night Obama gave a great speech excepting the nomination for the Democratic ticket for President. Did you watch?  How profound it was on the 45th anniversary of Dr. King's I Have a Dream speech.   I could here him talk forever.  He gave me chills. Filled with inspiration and hope.  I believe him when he says he wants to change things.  It can't get any worse from what Bush has done to the USA.  Today McCain  announced his VP candidate and it's a woman.  So. She's anti abortion, anti same sex marriage, and apart of the NRA.  Freak her.  Freak his old ass.  I pray that the United States is awake this year and sees we need Obama.

I'm in a weird place.  It's excitement and fear of the unknown wrapped into a ball.  Gonna have to start making my rounds soon to all those I would love to see before I split to Georgia.  I so hate goodbyes and even talking about it cuz it makes me sad.  I know goodbyes are just I'll see you laters but I still hate them. I want to take everyone in my little pocket with me so I have my little network like Verizon. lol I'm keeping an open mind, open heart, and open eyes.  I'm open to what the world has to offer but know what not to take in.  I'm special! s (not lil yellow bus silly) Believe in me!

It was a great show!!! I'm so glad I got to see it before I left.    Joe's Pub has such a cool atmosphere. Tho the drinks are expensive as hell. lol  Lemon did his thing.  He brought his characters to life.  It was funny, heartfelt, and Hip Hop.  I'm very proud of him. =)

My Truth

Thru the silence
Thru the tears
Thru the hopes and fears
Lies truths of ones soul
That only he or she knows

Once acknowledged
And let out the box
There is no stopping
There are no limits

To believe in oneself
Seems like the hardest thing to do
Funny how Everyone seems to believe
Why don't you?

Flaws and All

Fun and Sun

My weekend was amazingly refreshing.  Chilling in Williamsburg felt like old times thru new eyes.  Hec and I went to MCarren Pool and it was the first time I'd ever been.  The scene was so chill.  He made me see that I can have anything I want and live however I like.  Reassuring me that it's going to be ok.  He is my root. It was fun watching people play dodge ball, it was so entertaining we probably saw like 5 games.  Fun and sun always made us happy.  It always will.  We had a great day.  Oh coming soon,, Izza Kizza on that stage. ;)

As a global brand, diversity and embracing difference is part of the fabric. The name Té Casan (tae-ca-sahn), “A Woman’s Path”, is Gaelic and originates from the inspiration of a global name that represents no specific nation or language and refers to all women. The search for the name was conducted on three different continents.

continents. It defines a universal identity with all women but belonging to no one particular country, place or person. The name embraces the legacy and strength of all women; of women, for women.

An Angel

To a beautiful spirit
To a beautiful soul
May you watch down upon your children
From an eternal home

May you hurt no more
Tho we shed tears for you
But knowing your spirit shines bright
Eases hearts to know you start a new

You will be missed
You will forever be loved
Remembering you always
Fills our hearts with joy as you watch from above

New done right

Still amazing myself. I never thought I could be ok at a driving range and actually hit the ball and not have it go straight over the edge. LOL  I am glad to get the opportunity to do up New York before I head to Georgia in the Fall. Good friends are always a good thing. The city looked beautiful in the day and the night from the pier. You almost take for granted the beauties of the city.  I'm appreciating it everyday.

2nd time around @ Fuerza Bruta

There is LIGHT at the end of the TUNNEL

life is full of twists and turns, ups and downs, good and bad.  sometimes it can feel like the whole world is working with you at one moment and against you the next.  we as human beings are so resilient to somehow bounce back and keep moving, living, loving. when things get us down, or happen to us we think we can never recover from, know that the old saying is tru, what doesn't kill you will definitely make you stronger. everyday I get stronger.

Album drops July 29th!!!

Interview by Tracy Forsyth-Lundy

As you all know, I have been an absolute die hard Rock & Roll fan for more years than I can recall, however I have also come to adore some artists in the hip-hop as well as R&B genres. Timbaland has discovered some fabulous talent in his career & I have tried to focus in on as many of those artists as I can as they are the future of music.

Izza Kizza (AKA Terry Davis) is one of Timbaland's spectacular finds. How Tim came across Izza is one of "those fate situations" Kizza told me during our memorable phone conversation. "It turned out to be a great situation for me" he said with great enthusiasm.

Izza was actually interested in Science such as Archaeology, Animal Studies & really anything to do with nature or animals before he found his love for music. He had planned on becoming an archaeologist digging away for dinosaur bones before he realized that music was a true passion & now he is digging for those gold records. Izza performed on Timbaland's 'Shock value' cd and now he is busy in the studio working on his own full cd for all of us to revel in. "I'm trying for this summer" says Kizza in regards to the actual release time for this cd. He then hopes to follow up with a second & third cd to follow right behind going right into 2009. "Tim is going to embrace this project…he'll put his all into it. I'll make tit good & Tim will make it great' says Kizza.

Enjoying everything about his career right now, Kizza is having the time of his life working with Tim/ "I've admired Tim since I was a child" says Kizza. "My life is full of excitement right now, some of my favorite songs are produced by Tim" says Izza. Kizza also mentioned to me that the first time he heard 'Apologize' on Tim's CD he loved the song. He has also been a huge fan of Missy Elliot's work and managed to record one of his songs with her titled 'Walk the Dawg', it has a totally catchy hook to it and I love how the song was composed. My absolute favorite song of Izza's right now is 'Red Wine', it shows how versatile Izza really is with his music. His raspy yet oh so sexy voice shines in this song. You gotta hear it!

Keeping himself surrounded with positive people is key to Izza kizza. "Family & a strong team of management, everybody is a positive spirit' says Kizza. Izza is also a very proud father to his 8 year old son; "I want him to grow up in the South like I did" says Izza. Kizza grew up in what he called the Deep South in Georgia & feels that this is where his son needs to be in order to gain what he will need in life. Izza pulls inspiration from normal day-to-day stuff as well as past experiences when he writes & this dude loves being surprised. Note to self Ladies – the man likes surprises!

Looking into the rest of this year Izza has a very full agenda. Recording in New Jersey right now Izza is 100% focused ..ing off his first cd project. He is also looking to start up a non-profit organization for kids. "I'm not sure what direction it will take yet, but I'm working on it. I want kids to be able to have access to music and instruments, so hopefully it will be along those lines". Says Kizza.

Fans are also of the utmost importance to Izza. "Seeing them go crazy & the energy and love people give you because they love your music" is what Izza says he loves the most about getting on stage for all of you.

Recently adding a new song to his MySpace page titled "Here I Izz' for all to hear – the man certainly has an awesome sense of humor – no doubt about that! Kizza says to watch his MySpace page, he has a new one coming out as well as working with Ashlee Simpson on her new cd as well.

Our conversation was so easy to be a part of, he is intelligent, polite, extremely talented and certainly down to earth. Make sure to stop by his MySpace page and check out his rhymes – he IS the one and only Izza Kizza & he is right here in Backstage Live Magazine.

I really amaze myself sometimes.  My miami vacation is amazing so far and I'm only 3 days in.  The weather has been beautiful, the water warm, and my tan is coming along. =)  Hanging with my great friends is nothing short of fabulous. =)  Last night we went for Sushi then to LoveHate for drinks and I got to see Ami from Miami Ink.  Last time it was Garver.  Today was a special day though.  I really am learning that I am all about change and having the word Never be replaced with I'll try that once. lol  So today my friends and I went to get tattoos.  My girl and I got matching ones, and her hubby got a dope tattoo of his sign.  I haven't told you the best part.  So I went first so I wouldn't chicken out,,,and as I sat in the chair Alicia Keys Teenage Love Affair played,,,, I look at my friend and thought and said OMG!!!!    Getting Keys on our wrists while Ms. Keys serenades me.  It couldn't have been better.  Our tattoo guy was amazingly fast and funny.  He was gentle ;)  Thank you Ami.  He gave us our needle. I'ma make it into something just you watch. I'm connected to these people for life now.  They are amazing, I'm amazing, Lifes amazing. Pictures coming soon!
